How do I cross the Green Line into northern Nicosia?
There are several crossing points in Nicosia including the Ledra Street pedestrian crossing. Google Maps shows the crossing locations — navigate to them with data before attempting the crossing.
Is there connectivity at the Akamas Peninsula?
Latsi harbour and the main trailheads have coverage. The Aphrodite and Adonis trails through the peninsula interior have patchy signal. Download offline maps for hiking.

Cyprus is the Mediterranean's third-largest island, split between the Republic of Cyprus in the south and the Turkish-administered north. Epic and PrimeTel provide 5G in Nicosia and main southern cities, making the Republic side well-connected for travel purposes. Data is essential for navigating Nicosia's divided city (crossing the Green Line UN buffer zone is now possible at several checkpoints, and navigation apps help locate crossings), booking Akamas Peninsula jeep tours, and checking ferry schedules from Limassol.
Epic and PrimeTel's 5G covers Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, Paphos, and Famagusta (in the government-controlled south). The Troodos mountain range — including Mount Olympus (the island's highest peak, with a ski resort), the painted churches UNESCO sites, and wine villages — has 4G along main roads with variable coverage on higher trails.
The Akamas Peninsula in the northwest — the island's most ecologically important area — has coverage at the main trailheads and near Latsi harbour. The interior trails (Aphrodite Trail, Adonis Trail) have patchy to no signal. The Blue Lagoon at Akamas has basic coverage.
