Akariq ("we", "our", "us") operates the website akariq.com, a platform that sells prepaid eSIM data plans for travelers worldwide.
2. What Data We Collect
We collect only the minimum data necessary to process your order:
- Email address — provided at checkout to deliver your eSIM activation details and order confirmation.
- Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe. We never see, store, or have access to your card number, CVV, or billing address.
- Order details — destination country, plan selection, price, and order status stored in our database to fulfill your purchase.
- IP-derived location — your country is inferred from your IP address to auto-detect your preferred currency and language. We do not store your IP address.
3. What We Do NOT Collect
- We do not require an account, password, or profile.
- We do not collect your name, phone number, or physical address.
- We do not use tracking cookies, analytics scripts, or advertising pixels.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. How We Use Your Data
- Order fulfillment — to provision your eSIM, generate your QR code, and send your activation email.
- Customer support — to help you if something goes wrong with your order.
- Transactional emails — order confirmation, eSIM delivery, and refund notifications only. No marketing emails.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following services to operate Akariq:

- Cart contents — your shopping cart items before checkout.
We do not use analytics cookies, tracking pixels, or any third-party cookies.
7. Data Retention
- Order records — retained indefinitely for customer support and legal compliance.
- Email address — retained with your order record. We do not add you to any mailing list.
- Payment data — retained by Stripe per their privacy policy. We have no access to it.
