Mexico's main tourist destinations are well-connected, and data is especially useful for safety and navigation. Uber is widely available in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, and major tourist areas — and meaningfully safer than flagging unlicensed taxis, which is the standard local safety advice from any travel guide and the Mexican government's own tourism messaging. DiDi is a cheaper alternative. Google Maps covers Mexican cities accurately, including the Mexico City Metro (Lines 1–12), which is one of the largest urban metro systems in the world.

AT&T Mexico and Movistar have strong urban coverage. 4G is reliable across the Riviera Maya corridor (Cancún, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Cobá).
