Sudan is one of the world's most historically under-visited destinations — the Nubian pyramids at Meroe, Naga, and Musawwarat es-Sufra (more pyramid sites than Egypt, with fewer tourists), the ancient Kushite capital of Meroe on the Nile, and the traditional Nubian villages along the Nile between Khartoum and the Egyptian border. Zain provides limited 4G coverage in Khartoum and some main towns, but infrastructure is constrained by the ongoing political and security situation.
